Identifying potential biomarkers for mild COVID-19 in saliva by miRNA profiling using NGS and ddPCR

Listed in NCBI GEO

miRNAs represent promising biomarkers for several diseases, including viral respiratory infections.

Description

Saliva screening for miRNA expression was performed using NGS, followed by a validation step through RT-qPCR and ddPCR. Our data revealed that miRNAs are found to be dysregulated in early stages of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
