The effect of the high-peak power electromagnetic pulse (HPEM, 1 MV/m) on gene expression in normal human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC)

Listed in NCBI GEO

The aim of the study was to analyze the cell response to a single high-peak power electromagnetic pulse (HPEM) at the gene expression level.

Description

Normal human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC) from two donors were used as a model. Cells were exposed to HPEM with a peak field of 1 MV/m, rise time 3 ns, pulse width 30 ns and center frequency 50 MHz.

Transcriptomic analysis was carried out immediately after exposure (0 h), 4 or 24 h after treatment.
