Mov10 directly targets Camp to promote its protein synthesis

Listed in NCBI GEO

Further research has revealed that the mRNA levels of Camp did not change but its protein expression was decreased after Mov10 depletion evidently, suggesting that Mov10 may regulates the protein translation efficiency of Camp without affecting its mRNA abundance .

Description

To validate the above hypothesis, we isolated Lin−c-Kit+ cell from Mov10fl/fl and Mov10-CKO mice after 12 days 4.5 Gy IR for translation sequencing (Ribo-seq) to analyze the effect of Mov10 on the translation efficiency of differentially expressed proteins and the abundance of ribosome-protected fragments (RPFs), funding protein translation efficiency of Camp is significantly downregulated after 12 days 4.5 Gy IR .

Ribo-seq genome browser views re-vealed strong ribosome stalling both at the Camp’s TISs and during the protein translation pro-cess of Camp after 12 days 4.5 Gy IR
