Transcriptomic profiling of rat brain tissue 21 days after middle cerebral artery occlusion

Listed in NCBI GEO

Ischemic stroke induces persistent molecular alterations in brain tissue during the recovery phase.

Description

To characterize transcriptomic changes at a late post-stroke time point, RNA sequencing was performed on hemisphere samples from adult rats subjected to sham surgery (n = 2) or middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO; n = 4). All tissues were collected 21 days after surgery.

This dataset was designed to compare the transcriptomic profiles of sham-operated and MCAO rats and contains no samples receiving cell transplantation, pharmacological treatment, or other therapeutic intervention.
