Transcriptomic profiling of periadrenal adipose tissue in autonomous cortisol secretion

Listed in NCBI GEO

Autonomous cortisol secretion (ACS) is associated with metabolic complications, including visceral adiposity.

Description

In this study, we performed bulk RNA sequencing of periadrenal adipose tissue obtained from patients with ACS and those with non-functioning adrenal tumors (NFAT). Comparative transcriptomic analysis was conducted to identify molecular pathways altered in adipose tissue exposed to excess cortisol.
