Visual contrast sensitivity thresholds for naturally cycling women (n=21), female users of combined oral contraception (n=14), and men (n=14).
Description
Thresholds were measured for 1, 4 and 16 cpd gratings, across 3 consecutive test sessions corresponding to distinct phases of the menstrual cycle, including the ovulatory, luteal and menstrual phase. Male participants were tested at similar time intervals.
