Sampling design influences on airborne eDNA detections - Mam12 marker

Sampling was conducted across a series of experimental and field deployments to evaluate factors influencing DNA capture and detection. The dataset includes samples collected under natural environmental conditions as well as deployments at a zoological facility with known species composition, providing a semi-controlled context for interpreting airborne eDNA detections.

Taxonomic assignments were generated from high-throughput sequencing data and are provided as a presence–absence matrix following application of a minimum detection threshold. Sequences assigned to Homo sapiens were removed prior to publication. [This dataset was processed using the GBIF Metabarcoding Data Toolkit.]
