Small RNA sequencing of plasma samples collected from Polish Longwool ewes during high-fat diet-induced obesity and leptin resistance.
Description
Six ovariectomized ewes received a high-fat diet (OBESE group) and six received a standard diet (CTRL group). Plasma samples were collected at three timepoints: week 7 (T1), week 10 (T2) and week 14 (T3) of the dietary intervention.
Libraries were prepared using the QIAseq miRNA Library Kit (QIAGEN) and sequenced on the AVITI platform (Element Biosciences) using 1x76 single-end reads. This study was supported by the National Science Center, Poland (Grant no. UMO-2023/51/B/NZ9/00651).
