Senescence Markers and Associated Transcriptomic Changes Expressed at Early Stages of Alzheimer’s Disease Neuropathological Change but Are Not Independently Related to Dementia Status

Listed in NCBI GEO

Cellular senescence is an important ageing mechanism that may affect the post-mitotic cells of the brain.

Description

We have examined a panel of senescence markers in human autopsy brain samples and investigated how senescence marker expression changes with the progression of Alzheimer’s disease neuropathological change (ADNC) and their relationship to dementia.
