Whole-testis mRNA-seq analysis of H3mm15-deficient mice
Listed in NCBI GEO
Histone H3mm15 is an H3.3-related histone variant that is enriched in the mouse testis and contributes to the regulation of gene expression during spermatogenesis.
Description
To determine whether loss of H3mm15 induces compensatory transcriptional changes in other H3.3-related histone variants, we performed whole-testis mRNA sequencing using H3mm15 heterozygous control and homozygous knockout mice. Testes were collected from 10- and 13-week-old mice, and total RNA was subjected to poly(A)-selected, strand-specific RNA sequencing.
This dataset enables comparative analysis of gene expression between H3mm15 heterozygous and knockout testes, including the expression of H3f3a, H3f3b, H3t, and H3mm family genes.
