Single-cell sequencing reveals the immune cell landscape of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in primary membranous nephropathy

Listed in NCBI GEO

Primary membranous nephropathy (PMN) stands as the predominant pathological subtype of primary nephrotic syndrome in adults.

Description

Approximately one-third of patients diagnosed with primary membranous nephropathy will eventually progress to end-stage renal disease (ESRD), carrying a poor prognosis. Our study employed single-cell RNA sequencing to investigate PMN, with the objectives of characterizing immune cell phenotypes, deciphering intercellular interaction patterns, and elucidating the potential mechanisms implicated in PMN pathogenesis.
