NanoString nCounter study of ICCR-engineered human T cells compared to nontransduced T cells.

Listed in NCBI GEO

This study aimed to investigate the targeting efficacy of ICAM1-specific chimeric costimulatory receptor (ICCR)-T cells on solid tumor and to study the molecular changes that underlie ICCR functional activity.

Description

This objective was addressed by demonstrating superior ICCR-T cell targeting efficacy using allogeneic and autologous ICCR-T cells on anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) cells in vitro. ICCR-T cell activity was also tested in vivo using ATC xenografts.

We delineated the mechanism by which ICCR enhances T cell proliferation and selective activation by analyzing downstream signal pathway activation, gene expression, and TCR sequencing.
